Shay Pool
Co-Founder & Advisor
Shay Pool (He/Him) is ecstatic to be involved in this project bringing artists together during this time! Shay is a freelance Stage Manager, Director, Performer, and Educator based in Tulsa, OK. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, he has worked on several virtual productions such as William Shakespeare's As You Like It, William Shakespeare's Hamlet, and An Evening of Shakespeare Sonnets. Currently, he is the Technical Theatre Director at Bixby Public Schools and is also the Co-Founder and Executive Director at The Broadway in Bixby Bootcamp where he teaches and directs several children's theatre productions and classes, most recently directing and adapting L. Frank Baum's The Wizard of Oz: The Musical. He is also involved with The Orbit Initiative as their Director of Production Development and is a Contract Stage Manager at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center as well as several local community and regional theatres. In addition, Shay owns and operates his own children's vocal and acting studio teaching a variety of skills to a large sum of young performers.
Ryan Mahannah
Artistic Director & Co-Founder
Ryan Mahannah (He/Him) is thrilled to be a part of the ETC team. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, Ryan has been active in Zoom productions both as a Director and an Actor. Some of those productions include William Shakespeare's As You Like It, The Taming of the Shrew and The Importance of Being Earnest. Originally from South Florida- Ryan received his BFA from Florida Atlantic University. From there he began his professional theatre career and eventually went on to earn his MFA from The University of Southern Mississippi in 2017. Ryan has worked in many states across the USA as a Director/Actor/Educator and is currently the Program Coordinator for Theatre at State Fair Community College in Missouri. Ryan would like to thank his wife, Brielle, who supports all his crazy endeavors. Without her support he would not be where he is today. He looks forward to continuing to create during these tough times.
Savanah Sanchez
Executive Director
Savanah Sanchez (she/her) is so incredibly excited to take on this new role with ETC. Since the pandemic Savanah has graduated from St. John’s University. She is continuing to develop her PR firm, while working in telecommunications in NYC and freelancing theatre and social media work. She has stage managed, acted and produced various projects at the collegiate level. Tayler Fess
General Manager
Tayler Fess (she/her) is a production stage manager located in southern California. She stage managed the summer season with ETC and decide to stay on in a more permanent position as General Manager. Recent production credits include A Midsummer Night’s Dream, She Kills Monsters: Virtual Realms, The Seagull, At The Pass, and Little Shop of Horrors. She’s very excited to continue working with ETC and can’t wait to see what we will produce this season!
Millenia Cadet
Marketing Director
Millenia Cadet (she/her) is a newcomer to ETC and is super excited to take on the position as Marketing Director and hopes to pursue a career in public relations in the entertainment industry. She is currently a 4th year student at the University of California Riverside and majoring in Liberal Studies and minoring in Theatre, Film, and Digital Production. She has dabbled in acting for years and from an early age has been involved in Florida Children’s Theatre, PBS Kids, and Nick Jr. in addition to many other theatre and film projects, and is very excited to learn more about other aspects of theatre and ETC as a whole.
Courtney Pobst
Technical Director/
Streaming Consultant
Courtney Pobst (she/her) is thrilled to be assuming the position of Technical Director for ETC. She is a current undergraduate student at the University of California Riverside pursuing degrees in Theatre and Creative Writing. Courtney most often works as a stage manager, her most recent credits being Blood At The Root, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and She Kills Monsters. She has loved working with ETC in the past and is elated to serve in this new capacity.
Jackie Vetter
Education and Outreach Coordinator
Jackie Freeman Vetter (she/her) is an Actor/Director based in Southwest Montana. She is in her sixth season serving as Artistic Director at Orphan Girl Children’s Theatre in Butte, MT. Past credits include: Little Sally in Urinetown the Musical (Orphan Girl Theatre), Kayleen in Gruesome Playground Injuries (The Ballroom Players), Annelle in Steel Magnolias (Theatre Workshop of Nantucket/Tennessee Williams Festival), Annie Sullivan in The Miracle Worker (Orphan Girl Theatre), the Virginia City Brewery Follies, Pitiful Beautiful Pittance (Last Chance Play Festival, voted best actor), Ms. Prism in The Importance of Being Earnest (Evergreen Theatre Collective), roles in both 9066 and The Enchantress of Number (Chicago Dramatists Network Play Festival), as well as performing at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe twice. Her credits also expand to the screen with commercial credits for MasterCard and GrubHub, a co-star on the fourth season of Yellowstone with Kevin Costner and most recently having filmed Broke (Working Title) with Wyatt Russell. Currently, Jackie is directing the Southwest Montana premiere of Bitteroot by James Venhaus, and slated to direct A Gift To Remember This Christmas, both at Orphan Girl Children's Community Theatre. Shana Gordon
Social Media Coordinator
Shana Gordon (they/them) is a graduate of SUNY Fredonia where they earned their degrees in Theatre and Women & Gender Studies. They’re currently residing in Chicago, IL, where they are working as a Box Office Associate. They have worked as an actor with ETC (She Kills Monsters and The Seagull). They are absolutely thrilled to serve as the Social Media Coordinator on the board. They’re looking forward to the creative projects that lie ahead and collaboration to come!
Dr. William Walker
Dramaturg in Residence
Dr. William Walker (he/him) is excited to be a part of the ETC team. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, William has been active in Zoom-centered productions both as a director and an actor. Some of these productions include new works such as Siren by Austen Naron, Alice in Cyberspace by Robyn Huizinga and Co., R.U.R. by Karel Ĉapek, and Beautiful Strangers by Bradley Nies, and made his ETC debut in William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream as Peter Quince. A Texas native, William received his BFA in Directing/Acting/Costume Design from Sam Houston State University and his MA in Theatre Management from Texas Woman’s University. He received his Ed.D in Higher Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University in Arizona. William has worked in theatre houses across the country and began his professional career in Dallas. He is currently Head of Drama and Musical Theatre at Paris Junior College in beautiful Paris, Texas. William would like to thank his husband Michael for all of his support for his sometimes flights of fancy. He looks forward to making some strong contacts and fantastic friends while at ETC.
Megan Murphy
Website Coordinator
Megan Murphy (she/her) is excited to be continuing her journey with ETC after performing as Titania/Hippolyta in their production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream! She is currently completing her final semester at the University of New Hampshire, where she is majoring in English and minoring in musical theatre. Originally growing up as a musician from age five, Megan first got involved in theatre as a young teenager and has since worked on and off-stage in over 30 productions. She’s also served as a marketing intern for The REV Theatre Company and Hackmatack Playhouse. Select credits include The Gate (Fox), The Secret Garden (Lily), The Odyssey (Arete/Leodes), and Mamma Mia! (Featured Ensemble).
Luke Prowse Baldwin
Director of Diversity
Luke Prowse Baldwin (he/him) is hugely enthusiastic about prospering cultural acceptance and inclusion, and so as an avid director, dramaturg and performer, is delighted to be on board. Graduating from The University of Leeds with a BA (Hons) Theatre and Performance degree, Luke became Theatre Practitioner at prestigious institution Giggleswick School, co-directing productions and leading workshops. He now writes for arts magazine The 730 Review alongside moderating Kneehigh Theatre’s official Facebook group, The Village Hall.
